I just love the colors pink & purple!! So this week my nails are a combination of the two beautiful colors.

My Daisy

This blog is a little different then the past ones but this is all about "Adaywithmom" && my day is not complete without my Daisy!! So I thought that I would write a little about her. 

She loves to play outside & go to the park! 

I love my Daisy!! I have had her for a little over a year. Right after I got her I lost my job & then was home everyday by myself until after school when my 4 boys would get home. I am so happy that I got her when I did because she has kept me company since I have been at home. 

She loves to sit on the couch with us! She is so spoiled that she always wants on the couch & very rarely does she just sit or lay in the floor. 

She loves to cuddle with us! If I don't hold her or cuddle with her when she wants to then she will bark at me & claw at me. 

She has become so spoiled! :)  She is always in what ever room I am in & she is always 2 steps behind me where ever I go. Daisy loves her treats that I buy her. When I get home from the store & I have bought her treats I will say "Daisy, momma got you something." & she will get so excited. She will start barking, running  around & trying to get the bag. It is so cute!

She loves to try to give kisses but I don't really like doggy kisses! hahaha

We took her to the beach for the very first time last summer. She loved running on the beach! She loves to smell everything, so at the beach she had a lot of different things to smell like the sand, ocean, seaweed, shells & etc.

5 Products I loved this Week

Below is a list of some products that I was loving this week. I tried to have a variety of types of products that I included for this post. 

5 Products I loved this Week

#1 - Neutrogena makeup remover cleansing towelettes.

I love love love these things!! They are soooo good at removing mascara, eyeliner & eye makeup without irritating my eyes. I use these to remove all my makeup. They also have a great smell to them. 

#2 - EOS lotion

This lotion smell so good like cucumber melon or something. The one thing I really love about this lotion is it does not leave my hands feeling greasy. It soaks right into my skin & leaves my hands soft & smelling good.

#3 - L.A. Looks nail polish (Magnetic Force)

This is the polish that I used for my last blog post. I think this is such a pretty Spring/Summer Coral color. It can be purchased at the dollar store so its not breaking the tight budget that most people have these days due to the economy.

#4 - Baby Lips (Peach Kiss)

This is a SPF 30 lip balm with a great peach color. I put this over the NYX lip liner Nude Beige last week & it makes a great beige/peach color. This feels good on my lips & the SPF is a plus. On Easter weekend we went to a cookout & egg hunt on that Saturday & I didn't wear anything on my lips & they felt burnt after only being in the sun for 1-2 hours. So this is a great product to use to protect my lips & give me a little color.

#5 - NYX lip liner pencil (Nude Beige)

This was one of the 1st NYX products I have ever purchased a few weeks ago. I really like this Nude Beige color to put all over my lips & then put a peach or nude color on top.

NFTW - Nails for the Week

It was rainy most of the weekend but on Saturday we were able to get the grass mowed right before it started raining again. Since it was rainy all weekend we just relaxed, watched movies & had family time. When it is rainy on the weekends it does tend to be more challenging to keep 4 boys occupied.


 My nails for the week were a simple but fun coral color!

Here is a video that I put together of a bright spring nail look. I love creating fun looks whether it is for the nails or for the eyes. I feel like makeup & nails among other things is a great way to express yourself without being committed to the look forever!

Spring is Here!

My Spring nail look I created last week. I put a light pink on all my fingers except the ring finger on both hands & on those two fingers I put a real pretty light green. I am going to be redoing my nails this week so I will post a picture of the new look I create, it will also be a Spring/Easter look. I love Spring!!! It is like a fresh new beginning after winter. The grass gets greener, flower start blooming, trees start producing leaves and birds start singing more!! Everything is so pretty! 

I hope everyone has a wonderful Good Friday, Easter & Resurrection Sunday! This is a favorite holiday of mine!

St. Patty's Day Nails

Sorry this is late but I still want to post about my St. Patty's Day nails.

My nails I put a light green color on all my nails except the ring finger on both hands & on the ring finger I put a dark green color. Gave it an interesting look! Hope you love it!
We had a layed back day on St. Patty's Day & just hung out at home so I didn't put any makeup on that day.
